Located in Havana, Namibia, this phased community centre is designed to grow with the needs of its users. The project combines essential functions, including a school, learning centre, sanitary facilities, and a cafeteria, into a flexible layout anchored by a central gathering space. Built primarily from clay bricks with a lightweight steel roof, the design prioritizes durability and local materials. Large overhangs offer much-needed shade, while strategic roof openings enable passive cooling, creating a comfortable and climate-responsive environment for the community.
